This week we went from thinking we’d go to the Spanish basque country, to rushing to Rome. Sometimes things just happen and you have to change plans and direction…
If you’re wondering if Paris is a vegan-friendly place, the answer is yes. There are more and more vegan restaurants in Paris, as well as vegan-friendly ones, and practically all the supermarkets offer vegan options for your groceries, on top of the many organic food shops we have. Of course being a local and vegan for the 4 last years I’ve lived in Paris, I had ample opportunities to find out the best places to eat great vegan food in Paris with best value for money, so here’s my pick, see you there!
Call us weird, but we spent our honeymoon traveling across the US by bus. In 3 months during the summer of 2016, we went from New York City to Los Angeles by bus, only taking 2 domestic flights from Chicago to Detroit, and from Houston to San Diego. We’ve crossed 31 cities from our bucket […]
Two years ago, we were going on our first big road trip together. This bus trip across the USA was our honeymoon, and it lasted almost 3 months, practically the duration of what we are allowed to stay in the States without a visa. It wasn’t planned at all. Actually we started planning the first […]
I went to New York City for the first time two years ago, at the beginning of our 3 months road trip across the USA. I had big hopes for New York. I thought it would be my favorite city in the whole world, the place I aspired to live in and where I’d become […]
Where is Game of Thrones filmed in Northern Ireland? Get on the tour! One of the things we had promised each other to do before leaving Belfast was one of the tours of Game of Thrones filming locations in Northern Ireland. Missing the filming locations here around Belfast was not an option, especially as the tours […]
Rome is a gorgeous place full of architectural, historical and cultural gems. It’s hard to know where to go and what to see on the first visit, but some sights and places are just absolute must-do. Here are the 15 best things to do in Rome for first-timers!
Bonjour! If you had the chance like me to work and live in Paris during fashion week, well this post is not for you…. Just joking! But seriously, having lived in Paris for a few years and working in the most iconic fashion club-cocktail bar in town might have given me enough knowledge to talk about it.
This week we finally made it out of France and to Spain with our camper van! We visited Narbonne, had some scary moments on the road in the Pyrénées to go from France to Spain, but then found ourselves in an idyllic place on a cliff above a beach in Tossa de Mar, Spain.
Let me tell you, 2018 has been C R A Z Y (58 cities!!) and I can’t believe it’s about to end! I don’t know if I’m happy or not about that, but I’m absolutely excited about 2019 because it’s going to be a big change for us, and for the first time we basically have zero plan and no idea of where we’re going – literally and figuratively.
In week 9 of Van Life Weekly we continued our van trip around France and went from Burgundy to Grenoble, and then continued to Occitanie with Nîmes and Narbonne.
For our first time in Canada, we had the opportunity to go visit my brother in Montreal in March, which ended up being a great trip! We were first a bit concerned about the weather, what to do, and what to pack, but we came out totally fine and had an amazing time. When we landed in Montreal, it was pretty cold and there was snow everywhere…
This week we went from Dijon to Nancy for a pregnancy appointment, before driving South through Burgundy and visiting two gorgeous medieval towns: Langres and Beaune. Even though it was a lot of driving around, it felt great to visit a few towns and not just lie around!
Paris is one of the capitals of fashion, and it’s understandable you might not like to “look like a tourist”. The good news is, dressing like a Parisian is not complicated, follow the guide written by a Parisian (me)!
This week we went from hot in Grenoble, to scalding in Lyon, and sleeping-with-a-sweater freezing in Dijon. But we took the time to explore the historical center of Dijon and absolutely loved it! Pics inside!
Mont-Saint-Michel is a basically a gorgeous 12th century abbey and a village (where a bit less than 50 people live) standing on a tiny little island. It also happens to be one of the most beautiful and magical place in all of France. As a matter of fact, this breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site is […]

The most beautiful cities in Brittany are those with medieval city centers, cobbled streets and timbered houses, pretty beaches and dramatic cliffs. Here’s our pick!
Have a laugh as I share with you my top tips on how not to hurt yourself while having sex in a camper van. First tip: wear a helmet if you’re on top.
